Systematic Surface
Inherent in the design are characteristics that have resonated for years in the work of the Cranbrook Campus creators; a phenomenological device for framing views, an intimate social space, and a marker within the landscape connecting user, architecture, and nature. These elements, combined with progressive methods of design and fabrication, encourage a complete rethinking of the way in which space is conceived and constructed.
